A prospect is the term we use for a customer, company or organisation.
The defaults set on the system are 'Retail' and 'Trade', but you can add more. The software will allow you to set up as many prospect types as you need.
When a prospect type has been added to the system set up, you can then define which questions are going to be relevant when adding a new customer/company to the system. For example:
If the user gets a call from a retail customer who is currently not on the system, he or she will need to take down as much information as possible (that is required to be held on the system). For a retail customer you may wish to ask questions like: Name, Title, Address information, Phone/Mobile numbers, email address and so on...
