Comfortable Software Support & Support Contracts that now include FREE* software!!
Since October 2009 all ComfortableSoftware products come with 30 days free software support* from the day you receive the software. Thereafter support is available at £35 (EX VAT) per call or by taking out a support contract with ComfortableSoftware.
When purchasing a support contract (and for the initial free 30 Days software support*) you will be given a unique support identifier code which must be quoted to a Comfortable Support technician when calling.

As from 11/11/2010 Annual support contracts are available at the cost of £195 (EX VAT) per 12 months and entitle you to big benefits, including FREE software of your choice, one per contract!

ComfortableConservatories with Orangeries (Both UK & North American versions),
ComfortableStyle v1 (Both UK & North American versions) and

Services covered and the Benefits of the ComfortableSoftware Annual Support Contract*
Access to support personnel for the purposes of advising and assisting the client personnel to utilize the features and functions of the Merlin Software International Ltd. (hereafter Merlin), ComfortableSoftware software version in Merlin approved methods and processes of operation.

Please note Merlin approved remote communication software may be required from time to time to assist in support. This is not supplied or maintained by Merlin unless detailed by separate contract. Direct phone line access (not through an exchange) will need to be within accessible range of all equipment to be supported by this method.
As may be made available from time to time, for the modules and options purchased excluding customized software. Please note additional data setup and training may be required, which will be charged by separate contract at the then prevailing Merlin rates.
When available software updates are made available via our website only. Customers who have provided valid email addresses will be notified automatically if said updates are ready for download. Software updates may also be provided from time to time via the inbuilt software update feature.
In all cases an internet connection is required to retrieve any updates.
Extra benefits of having a current support contract include:
- You will be entitled to always use the latest version of your selected product
- No dongles are involved, so if you are out on a sales call you don't need to worry about forgetting the dongle and whats more, there are no additional fees for broken or lost dongles!
- Peace of mind. If you have your laptop or PC stolen or broken, don't worry. We simply deactivate your old license and give you a brand new one on your new system, at no extra cost!
- Salesmen that leave your company cannot take the software with them without your say so. We will simply turn their license off and give you a new one for your chosen machine.
* The small print:
Merlin reserves the right to require the training of any individual who Merlin deem cannot be supported remotely and to withdraw support from the areas defined until such standards as Merlin deem necessary has been achieved. All time for the purposes of general training for a maximum of up to 3 people are chargeable at the then prevailing Merlin rate and expenses pertinent to the personnel type and grade as may be required.
Times of access are available from Merlin and may vary from time to time without notice.
Software support covers the current ComfortableSoftware products only.
Free software is only available to clients that have purchased an annual support contract with ComfortableSoftware at a cost of £195 per year (EX VAT) on or after 11th November 2010.
Only one software package is available for free per support contract.
Moving software from one machine to another is subject to a fair use policy. Please call for details.
We reserve the right to end this offer at anytime. If so, a notice period would be given and any policy purchased would still be valid until the end of it's term.
The following are among those services expressly not covered by this contract

Other than supporting client personnel where such options and training have been purchased by separate contract.
Where site visits are required by the client these days are chargeable at the then prevailing Merlin rate and expenses pertinent to the personnel type and grade as may be required.
All time for the purposes of general consultancy are chargeable at the then prevailing Merlin rate and expenses pertinent to the personnel type and grade as may be required.
All time for the purposes of general training for a maximum of up to 3 people are chargeable at the then prevailing Merlin rate and expenses pertinent to the personnel type and grade as may be required.
No software other than ComfortableSoftware products will be supported under this contract.
Merlin only supports ComfortableSoftware products, general use of any operating system will not be supported under this contract. Merlin assumes that clients have a workable understanding of their computer and operating system.
No hardware, associated cabling, operating software or utilities are covered under this support agreement.
